How do you translate your emotions into your artwork?

I infuse my photography with emotions by immersing myself in nature. From the delicate details of a flower to the grandeur of a mountain, each image reflects my inner feelings. Through composition and attention to detail, I aim to evoke emotional connections with viewers, sharing the beauty of nature’s complexity.

Can you share a memorable moment or experience that influenced your artistic journey?

One significant moment that shaped my artistic journey was on a coastal holiday. I found myself captivated by the intricate patterns formed by water and moss stains on rocky shores. With just my phone’s lens, I attempted to capture these details, sparking my passion for photography and nature’s intricate beauty.

What message or feeling do you hope viewers take away from your work?

Do you have a favourite piece of your own artwork, and if so, what makes it special to you?

My favorite piece of artwork is a recent photo I took of a lighthouse amidst the landscape during a holiday. Despite having photographed the lighthouse many times before, this particular image stands out due to its unique perspective, which beautifully portrays the integration of the lighthouse with its surroundings. What makes it special is its ability to convey the essence of how the lighthouse harmonizes with the landscape.

How do you engage with your audience through your art?

Through my photography, I aim to share a specific way of thinking and perspective with my audience. I believe that a single photo can speak volumes, conveying emotions, stories, and ideas. By showcasing my work in various settings, such as social media or physical spaces like walls, I offer viewers a glimpse into my unique worldview. I believe that a photograph displayed on a wall can give a space a sense of identity and atmosphere, transforming it into a place for meaningful engagement and conversation. Ultimately, I strive to use my photography to connect with others and evoke thought and emotion.

Can you describe the process behind creating one of your recent works?

Certainly, my recent creative process often starts with a simple stroll in my surroundings. I let my senses guide me, seeking out the subtle beauty that surrounds me. When something catches my eye — a unique perspective, captivating texture, or vibrant colour — I instinctively reach for my camera. I aim to capture the essence of what drew me in, focusing on simplicity and authenticity. Playing with perspective, scale, texture, and colour, I strive to convey the scene’s inherent beauty. Post-processing adjustments, if any, are kept minimal to preserve the authenticity of the moment. Ultimately, my process is intuitive, driven by a deep appreciation for the beauty in simplicity.
